Hey Brian,
Sorry to hear that - I'd recommend you contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your XDJ inspected and/or repaired. You're under warranty, so no worries there.
Hello,
I tried searching the forum and have seen the old threats relating to this issue but seems everything has been closed since 2019 and I did not see any resolution to this issue.
I recently purchased an XDJ-RX2 and am now noticing a few weeks after using that whenever I hit the cue button, reloop or any of the hotcue pads that the music makes a brief cracking/popping sound. It doesnt always happen the first time but if i hit the cue a couple times it will definitely happen. It even cracks on tracks that are cued that are not actively playing (fader is down). As I said I tried searching for a resolution on the forum before posting this but was unable to find anything.
Does anyone have a fix for this? Or would be able to assist?
It is much appreciated thank you.
Edit: This is when using standalone mode with a USB.

Hey thanks for the quick response, I have 2 questions.
I noticed you had another thread regarding this exact issue from back in 2018/2019 that was closed due to the issue being duplicated but there was no update. Has there been any update/fix for this issue since then that was found by pioneer?
My concern is that I purchased the unit from a retail location who was having a sale and since it was the floor model, I do not know if the warranty is valid ( i don't have the box and was bought as-is), any idea?
Thanks again for your assistance.
Brian,
The fix was to have the unit serviced.
As for warranty, B stock / open boxes has a 90-day warranty (from date of purchase).
Ok thanks. It says there is only one where I am so I will reach out tomorrow. Is there something specific I should let them know? It seems like its a 3rd party electronic store.
Thanks
