XDJ-R1 and RekordBox performance mode dropping out

Just purchased an I7 HP Pavillion so I can run Rekordbox through my R1.

 

I constantly get sound drop outs when mixing. have tried adjusting the sample rate and nothing is working.

 

Tried to uninstall Rekord Box and re install it and I'm having the same problems.

 

Rekord box is plugged into the Computer, and using speakers off the Mixer, rather than through the computer as I had problems trying to run sound through the computer which would make rekordbox run slow and have nil sound what so ever.

 

Any body have any ideas what I can do ??

Having an i7 processor doesn't automatically mean your computer is going to run things properly -- if there are other background tasks occupying the system, that's going to cause problems. For example, was rekordbox still analysing tracks while you were playing? Was there an antivirus scan running?

I would suggest you file a rekordbox inquiry here and our support teams will be able to assist you further. As it is Christmas break, you will find a bit of a delay in response, but we will get you the help you need.
