Well, my solution ... to just cancel my subscription and go back to my regular license that came with ddj-rx
Once again, another issue with Rekordbox, this time after running the update ... on Macbook Pro OSX 10.11.6
Updated from 4.2.4 to 4.2.5, Rekordbox opens and keeps prompting about "Your license will expire in XX days" ... click OK, and all I see is a blank Rekordbox window (all black, no controls, nothing). Tried restarting, tried reinstalling, tried changing layout (menu showed fine), nothing.
In the end after trying to get it to work, I had to deactivate my license from preferences, and then activate it again ... and then it started working.
THIS HAS TO BE DONE EVERYTIME REKORDBOX IS OPENED WHICH IS VERY ANNOYING
Honestly though, i'm not surprised about this at all ... It seems one thing after another with Rekordbox ... and I have 8+ yrs experience as a developer and net/sys admin, so I know it's not an issue on my end, but with the software.
Maybe by the time you reach version 10 it will actually work like it's supposed to without issues ... hmmm won't hold my breath.
