Hi guys, got a real pain here and banging my head against a wall. I can use my DDJ-RX fine with Rekordbox, but I'm having issues with other software seeing the controller. I stream to Internet radio shows (using butt) with my DJM-2000 and the software I use finds that no problem and can hear the sound. But with the DDJ it sees it as a microphone and can not hear the sound.
I have tried audacity and also Winamp, same, they can't hear the sound from the controller either. Also, I can record my mixes.
Basically, I think the problem is with windows, for some reason it's not seeing the controller as it should. Btw, all my drivers are up to date.
Desperate for help on this as its doing my head in.

Did you find a solution to this?
Sadly no. Do you have the same issue?
No but I do stream using the BUTT software.
I use one of the outputs at the back of the RX and go into the mic input on my laptop.
That works for me.
I have done it that way before but I don't have a mic in now.
But the RX has two mic ins.
What would you be using the PC mic in for?
@Triggz - I'm guessing you use mic in to take the sound from your RX to your laptop, the windows picks it up on the soundcard? I don't have a mic in so only route in us via USB. Rekordbox can find the sound input from the laptop but no other software can find it.
Oh I see 🤔
I misunderstood when you said you don't have a mic in now.
My bad.
I assume you're using a Mac. If so, have you heard of a program called Soundflower?
I used it when having issues recording using Adobe Audition and Soundflower seemed to map the sound to where it needed to go to be able to record.
