XDJ R1 problem with USB input.
Hey guys new to the forum!
I recently became an owner of a XDJ R1 , first week got me really hyped and enthusiastic.
I was playing music through my computer MIDI without any problems.
Thing is i just bought a USB Flash Drive (Toshiba 16gb , FAT32 , USB2.0 , U401) i created my library through rekordbox without any problems, i even stored the firmware update so i can update my console.
I've put the USB stick in the XDJ R1 , i pushed the USB mode and the only thing that shows in the screen is "NO USB".
I already tried to use another USB (SanDisk ultra 64gb, formatted in FAT32, USB 3.0) i even partittioned this one to 16gb cause i thought the big space was a problem but the "NO USB" thing keeps happening.
I bought the XDJ R1 just last week from Saturn (Germany).
Any help will be appreciated,

It's possible the unit is faulty, especially if you have tested it with two different USB drives... but before I jump to that conclusion, are you using OS X to format your drives?

Nope im using Windows.
Even the firmware update is stuck on "DOWNLOAD" so ye i guess is a faulty unit..
Tommorow ill go to my local dj shop and then to saturn..

The OS X question was to make sure your drives had the proper master boot record, but if you did it through Windows, it would be fine.
Yeah, if the firmware won't even update with different USB drives, it could well be that the USB port is malfunctioning. Sorry!
