So last week I was setting up for a gig and while I was plugging in the club's XLR to the master output I saw a spark come from XLR after I tapped some metal casing. I didn't think much of it and continued to plug it in. After plugging it into the djm I started to hear this clicking noise coming out of the mixer. It came out of the mixer and out of the speakers. I had to play this gig so I just ran an xlr to quarter inch and ran it out of the booth. I had no problems until the day after. I turned on my djm to see if I could figure out what was going on and without plugging in an xlr the djm started to click yet again. I tried to test out the booth and it sounded more distorted than usual. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any chance that the channels you used at the club mixer were sending out phantom power?
Yes, thats what I was thinking. Is there anything I could do to fix this?
Best to ask a technician, see if the club has one in-house or one they use.
