Rekordbox problem with DJM 450 AND XDJ R1
I just updated to the latest version of Rekordbox and it immediately told me I needed to update the driver for my DJM 450. Since then I am unable to install the driver, it keeps saying installation failed 002.
So I gave up, packed my decks and my brand new DJM450 away and decided to go back to my R1 just so I could listen to some music and have a mix. All is fine for a few tunes and then suddenly it says the R1 is diconnected and the sound goes but the waves whizz past like the track is playing at 6 times the speed.
Anyone have any ideas about either of these? Since installing the new Rekordboz I cannot mix at all. Thanks for your time.

I think I have solved this.
Dont listen to Rekordbox - go to the support area, and manually download and install the driver.
Launch rekordbox after that - this worked for me.
