After 4 years of using Numark 4Trak with Traktor Pro, I bought the DDj SZ2.
Though Serato DJ is ok, some items I just can't get over (i.e. waveforms in performance mode cannot be magnified, and are much smaller than Traktor's)
I am very interested in Rekordbox, and saw there was a map for the DDJ SZ. I downloaded it and imported it thinking since mostly everything is the same, it would work. Unfortunately, it doesn't connect at all. Not sure if I need to manually change the inputs (which I would need help on) to get it to work.
I called the 800 number, and they said there was no map for the DDJ SZ2, which is a big let down considering it's so close to the DDJ SZ. I know they are trying to keep the relationship with Serato alive, but Rekordbox is Pioneer's own UI, so why wouldn't they make it available at launch?
If I have to wait for Rekordbox to be mapped for the DDJ SZ2, wondering if there is an approved Traktor map I can use in the meantime. I use the Midi Fighter 3D and Kontrol F1, and would like to keep these until I can afford the RMX 500 (if that would give me the plethora of effects and sampler capability the existing items can).
So, any way Rekordbox can work with the DDJ SZ2? I'm ready to make the plunge, but need help with the map and maybe the settings for the inputs. Thank you!
Right now the DDJ-SZ2 is a Sertato DJ controller, it does not work with Rekordbox or Traktor . A TSI file may be available from another source for midi mapping ( i.e. VDJ/Traktor). If Rekordbox comes on board we will announce it here.

I have the DDJ-SZ2 working with Traktor using the TSI for the DDJ-SX2, the only thing not working at this time is the Jog wheels, (still working on that, cant spin the wheel, it needs to be in vinyl mode). As far as Rekordbox I have been mapping it using the midi tool in the software.
Can you give me a link to a tsi file and how to use it
