1 Turntable only + Rekordbox

 Hello,

Can someone lead me on the right direction.... To use 1 turntable only with Rekordbox, can I plug the rca of the turntable into the mixer and the usb from the turntable into the computer ?

My mixer (djm3000) does not have usb port.

Thank you.

If you refer to the setup guide you'll find the following:

DJ mixer or controller

Compatible equipment:

DJ mixer

DJM-900NXS2

DJM-900NXS

DJM-900SRT

DJM-850

DJM-750

DJM-T1

Controller

DDJ-RZ

DDJ-RX

DDJ-SZ

DDJ-SX2

You may have an exception if you're using the PLX-500. I love the DJM-3000 mixers, one of my favorite rack mount and one of the best effect filled mixers of its day. I hope this helps. Response time I've learned is usually pretty slow on here so far.

@lee > Yes; you would use the DJM as your audio device, and your turntable connected to one line on the DJM as the DVS input. You load a track to that deck, start playing, then use instant-doubles to copy it to the other deck. Use the mixer to transition from one channel to the other, then the turntable channel will now be free for you to repeat the process.

This is what's known as "amputate mode."
