I've tried setting it up like the manual says but I can't seem to get it to sound right, it sounds all jumbled and clipped. And the circles that you are supposed to analyze the control vinyl look all messed up and jumbled as opposed to actual green circles , any help?

A video would be better!
Make sure your vinyl is set to phono and not line on the back of the vinyl
im having similar issues any more info on this topic would be much appreciated
my decks are really old and haven't had a service in a while but being 1210s should be bulletproof , could this be a part of the problem?
they play regular vinyl fine though I am calibrating them on auto and it says error , but if I do it on manual I can get them to make the circle but it isn't perfect and neither is the audio coming out it will play ok but slows and seeds up and also clips and makes strange noises
thanks for any feedback in advance
I'm having this issue as-well, DJM-450 is on computer, in REL mode, auto calibration fails and says error, no circle just a straight line on RB-VSk-1, turntables plugged into phono
