Have you already imported those iTunes playlists into rekordbox or are you trying to go directly from the iTunes tree to the USB device?

Lists and folders can't exceed 1000 on a USB device
Hello,
I'm running Rekordbox 4.5 on an iMac and syncing to my brand new XDJs1000MK2. I’m very happy with the workflow, but I had this weird error 2 times while syncing from the iTunes library to an external WP Passeport. The last time I went to the extent of formatting the device and resetting my whole Rekordbox collection, unsuccessfully. The same error occured :
"the number of lists and folders cannot exceed 1000 on a usb device"
I've check the whole iTunes playlists and none of them appears to contains more than 1000 items, far from there...
Any advice?

In the Sync 3 panes window, trying to go from the iTunes tree, to Rekordbox, and then to the USB device. Should I import the playlists (right-click > Import) before syncing ?

Looked like a broken iTunes library. Had to export my library, remove the culprit xml nodes and re-import my library anew. Still not totally fixed (smart folders count issue remaining after hours of painstainkly re-creating them). Now I'm running into another issue that will go into a different thread (rekordbox creating duplicates during sync each time I ran Mixed In Key on my iTunes library).
