4 deck with Interface 2 and controller

Is there a way to use the Interface 2 for DVS for 2 decks and an external midi controller (or even the keyboard) to control the other 2 (all with an external mixer)? I can't find a way to either select 2 soundcards (Interface 2 and additional card) or use the 4 outputs of the Interface 2 in Mono mode.

There's no official way to use 2 soundcards, and no ability to use the IF2 in mono mode, sorry. But yes, you could use a MIDI controller to manipulate the other (non-DVS) decks.

Hi Pulse, thanks for your reply. Does this mean that the only way to use 4 decks (DVS or not) is to use the internal mixer? I take it the Traktor Scratch Audio 10 would not work with Rekordbox DVS?

No - what I mean is if you want to use 4 decks, your best option is to use an audio interface designed to input 4 channels of DVS, such as a DJM-900NXS2, DJM-750MK2, or DDJ-RX/RZ.

I don't have any information on the Audio10 compatibility with rekordbox as it's not a Pioneer DJ product, we don't support it. Sorry.

Hi Pulse,

is it possiblie to control 2 decks with Pioneer DJ Interface 2 on DVS-Mode and control the other 2 Decks with a DDJ-RB or DDJ-400 in non-DVS-Mode?

Example: I would connect the Line-Outputs of Interface 2 to my DJM400 (Phono/Line)-Inputs and the Line-Output of the DDJ to another Line (CD)-Input of the DJM400.

4Channels of Rekordbox routed to 3Channels on the DJM400.

Or there any problems with audio-Output settings in Rekordbox?

Hey Marcel,

Yes and no... it could be configured, but there may be some fighting for the audio configuration and some remapping might need to be done. Are you on a Mac or PC?
