XDJ RX 2

Hello just had a few questions hopefully you guys can find out from the engineers when you can.

1. Is the crossfader the same as the original rx?

2. Is there any way in standalone mode to utilize the slicer feature like on the original rx? I know there is slip on the new rx 2 but to me it does not make sense why they would add that since it already has a slip mode button.

3. Is the internals of the rx2 for the sound performance the same as the original rx or was there a possible upgrade, basically does the rx 2 sound better than rx or do they both have same tech.

4. Can we please add more beat jumps and pad effects in a possible update.

1. No, it's a better cross fader, feels like a S9 more than the original (I used it over the weekend and the cross fader feels very fluid).

2. No, the newer version has Slip Loop.

3.. Yes the sound quality has been improved along with other upgrades to the RX2.

4. This is a wait and see, but you post this idea in the Features and suggestions forum so the engineers will see it sooner.

You won't be disappointed with the RX2, very solid and very easy to get around with the new 7" screen, very responsive.

Very good to hear that there has been a upgrade in sound and the cross fader as well. I am sure others would be happy to know that as well since pioneer did not mention at least with the videos that I have seen lately about the rx2. Thank you Jay appreciate the replies back I will send my suggestion to the features and suggestions thanks again.

Hi Jay - do you know if the resolution of the pitch faders in MIDI has been increased to 14-bit? or are they still 7-bit like the RX?

seems that the pitchfader has a higher Resolution than the mk1 Version in hid mode.
