Did you change the mixer mode within rekordbox? You'll find the switch in the preferences.

Pioneer XDJ-RX2
Just received my rx2 went online to download the firmwares and drivers. For some reason it won’t let me fully set it to MIDI to be able to use it for rekordbox I have the performance license. The farthest I get is to be able to switch the built in to xdj-rx2 but no output.

I've tried setting it different ways but none give me the option to also switch the mixer mode. the rx2 connects to midi but can't do nothing once on rekordbox.

Sorry, I don't have an RX2 here to provide screenshots, but have you tried following the instructions per pages 32-33 of the owner's manual?

I figured out the problem i was having. All this time i was thinking it could've been a software issue or my rx2 was malfunctioning. Ended up being i never updated Rekordbox to Version 5.0, after redownloading it i reopened rekordbox and right away everything worked. thank you for helping.

lol - well, that'll do it! I should have asked that at the start, but I figured it was new hardware and a new installation.
