DJM 900 NXS2

My channel 2 LINE input volume is too low.

When I move the same RCA cable from LINE on channel 2 to line on channel 3 the volume is normal and almost double of what I hear on channel 2.

I would like to know if this is something that requires a service center to look at or if this is something I can do my self.  I can't find a service manual online for the DJM900 nxs 2.

Can someone make the service manual available for 900 nxs2?

Do both channels have the same trim level? Are any sound color or beat FX filters enabled?

yes everything is exactly the same.  The unit is only 16 months old.

I would recommend to have the unit checked by Pioneer, this is no normal behaviour. I checked my NXS2 with an analog source, both channels have the same output level.

just wondering if anyone else has ever had to have the Line input on a mixer repaired.  It shouldn't be  too costly but just wondering how that went.

cost will depend on a few things

1. Is it under warranty?

2. if its just a loose solder point it shouldn't be too bad

3. some places may just replace the board the inputs are on. In the case of the 900NXS1, that board is $280. I can't look for the NXS2 because for some reason Pioneer stopped putting the PDF files of the boards on the parts site
