Sorry, the original 2000's cannot load "My Settings" and cannot auto load Hot Cues. It's a Nexus feature.
I'll have a vodka Mate, around 5am at Berghain's Gitter Bar ok?
Under Preferences --> CDJ --> My Settings there is an option to "Apply Settings on Devices Automatically". I have this clicked checkbox clicked but the settings never get downloaded. Not when I have my Mac connected via LAN to the players and use the Pro DJ Link option nor when I prepare a USB stick with Rekordbox and stick that into the CDJ directly.
I am using Rekordbox 3.2.0 and CDJ 2000s with Firmware version 4.2
Could somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong or whether it's Rekordbox, my kit or my firmware version that is the issue?
This has caused me much headache so if somebody solves it for me, drinks are on me when we meet somewhere in the world.
Many thanks!
p.s. I have the same issue with the automatic downloading of the Hot Cues. Preferences --> CDJ --> HOT CUES I have the checkbox clicked but the Hot Cues never download to the player. Not if I use Rekordbox straight with Link, nor when I use a USB stick that was prepared by Rekordbox. Even if I right-click on the track and chose "Enable Auto Load Hot Cue" from the pop-up menu.

Thanks for that. Vodka well deserved. I'm in Zurich though. If you wonder this way shout!
Interesting though that although "My Settings" do not load automatically, if within preferences I click on either of the decks the "My Settings" loads perfectly.
Anyhow, now I know it can't be done so I can go on living without searching for answers...
Many thanks!
Hä?
Do you have Nexus machines or the MK1 version? "My Settings" are not available on the CDJ 2000 MK1. To load "My Settings" on Nexus decks you press "Menu" and then the rotary knob if I remember it correctly. You should get a big red notice on the screen as soon as you access a USB with "My Settings" stored on it.
