Hello, I've recently upgraded my mac laptop and I've transferred my music library but I can not get my rekordbox data to transfer. Is it even possible? I tried the "move database" with an external harddrive but I either did it wrong or it's not working for some reason. I just want all of my cuepoints and controller settings back mainly so any way I can do that will solve my problem. Thank you
You BEST BET is the backup / restore option, but if you used the move database, you may have missed a step, or somewhere in the process you did something that copied the database over and now you're using a different user name.

The way I have done it is to use the 'Backup Library'
I did it without including the Audio files.
When going to the new Computer, you have to make sure all your Music files from the old one are copied to the new Computer at the same physical Location as they were stored on the old one.
Copy the Backup to the new Computer too. Install rekordbox and restore the library from the backup file. This will give you all your cue Points, hot cues etc.
If you see yellow exclamation marks in front of the files or single files, you need to check if your Audio files have been copied to the correct Location. If not either move them to it or 'relocate' the file in rekordbox to match it with your database entry.
