Rekordbox performance mode with quantized effects DJM.

Hi,
I'm moving on from USB-sticks to Rekordbox DJ.
After reading this forum I realize the best way to connect cdjs and djm to laptop is via USB and skip LAN-cables entirely.
BUT, I read in this and this post that when using USB between djm and laptop I am unable to use quantized effects on mixer. Is it really so?

How can I use performance mode with quantized effects? I don' want to sacrifice djm effects for using a laptop.
Or should I stay with rekordbox export mode? But in export mode I won't be able to use DDJ-SP1 (which I am planing to buy) at all?

Please help before I make any purchases!

If you are using rekordbox in PERFORMANCE mode, you don't have rekordbox quantized effects on the DJM as there is no beat-grid data sent to the mixer. This is only possible when mixing in EXPORT mode and the CDJs are transmitting that data over the ProDJ Link (ethernet) connection.

I forgot to mention the particular equipment in the club is:
cdj2000nxs and djm900nxs.
But of course I would like to have rekordbox setup which works on broader deck setup.

Maybe If I use cdjs to control rekordbox performance mode,
will I be able to use quantized effects on djm if cdj are hooked up with LAN-cables to djm?

What is the correct setup for rekordbox performance and cdj & djm for full functionality and minimum latency.

Tried with the djm900nxs and quantize didn't work while usb asio.

Is this going to be fixed in rekordbox 5?

Is beat grid transferred when using Cdj as soundcards and network cables to djm?

Thank you for the reply! Really hope this comes as a feature so users can use quantized effects on djm while in PERFORMANCE mode!

The good news is it now does send BPM data to certain mixers (DJM-450, DJM-750MK2, DJM-900NXS2, DJM-S9) so the rekordbox FX are in-sync. You'll have to ensure the firmware is up-to-date on the DJM.

Thank you Pulse!
I don't own any of those mixers but it is good to know the fact they support it when making future purchase choices!
