Moving most played files

I currently use Rekordbox with a MacBook pro, but it only has a 500Gb internal drive (and can't be increased) so I use a 3Tb external drive for my music, mostly because up until last year I used to often play video. I've since converted many of the most played mp4's to mp3 and want to take the 1,000 most played mp3 files and have them on my internal drive (complete with the cues, loops etc) and have the rest of the tracks inc the mp4s on the external drive.
 
Is there a way of doing this?

rekordbox doesn't manipulate the audio files themselves, so if you wanted to find the most played files - you could sort by # of plays, then manually locate them on the drive, move them to the internal drive, then use the relocation process to match the database entry to the new file location.
