Incorrect, in rekordbox 4 all playlists display the same columns as well. The Collection node can have different columns though, just like in rekordbox 5.

Different columns in Playlists
Howdy
I have noticed if you add/remove columns in Playlists, the changes are reflected across all playlists.
I'm pretty sure in previous version of RB, if you made a change to a column in a playlist, the changes were only visible in that playlist ?
I hope I'm correct and this can be rectified.

Ah yes, thats where I was maybe getting confused.
Would be great if we could customize each playlist as we want.
