You can't (easily). Those application don't understand how to route audio because they don't make use of ASIO audio drivers, so they can only use the Windows default audio to send to the first pair of outputs (CH1).

Can someone please provide a step-by-step guide how to assign the audio output of an application (spotify, browser, skype, whatever...) to a specific channel.
I control rekordbox with a ddj-rx, so i‘ve got 4 channels at my fingertips. I use a notebook with Windows 7 (Because Win 10 still causes problems with the drivers).

I know that I need some third-party Software to do that. I downloaded voicemeeter, but I'm kinda stuck...
Voicemeeter should be able to do it, you just need to assign Windows default device as one of the inputs, then re-map the output to the RX ASIO to match whichever channel you want. It's not necessarily intuitive, but you should be able to figure it out. ;)
