DDJ 1000 driver doesn't work on HP Pavillion 15-cd059sa

I have spent the entire day trying absolutely everything I could find online or think of myself. It got to the point where I did a fresh install of windows, then did the updates, downloaded the driver and then installed rekordbox. No dice. It freezes when I try to play music using the DDJ1000ASIO driver. The driver works fine on my desktop computer, with the same things plugged in the same way. The desktop rus Nvidia graphics/audio oppose to the laptops amd radeon dual cards with realtek audio. Even without the audio driver installed it still freezes so I'm not sure what it is about the laptop which dislikes the driver. Strangely it has gotten worse since I started trying to fix it, I did get away with playing on it for a good 40 minutes before it frozen at one point. It also was fine for a couple of hours at a pub when the DDJ was plugged in to a mixer via RCA. Now I'm lucky if I can load a track let alone get a minute in to it, however I have since updated the firmware and my windows 10. It also works (without music coming through the ddj1000 output but rather the laptops outputs) while using a ASIO4ALL driver. I could get away with plugging an interface into my laptop, but I would rather use the controller how it was intended and plugging my monitors directly into the pioneer equipment. If you can think of anything I may have missed, please let me know before I end up buying a laptop which Pioneer doesn't hate.
