RB Stems and -Lighting need to improve FAST

Let me clarify, I LOVE that Stems and RB Lighting exist.

But these features are so blatantly subpar to their competitors (Serato and Soundswitch), its crazy. I don't understand how they can be shipped in the new flagship FLX 10 controller without at least being brought up to speed.

Stems sound extremely bad compared to serato stems. Heck, even the promo vid mashups had audible artifacts. I get that its a new technology, but you guys had the same amount of time to get this right than any other major brand. No one looking into stems would actively choose rekordbox for that job.

RB Lighting compatibility is way worse than outside perspectives lead on. The fixture list is a joke: Lights listed in there aren't useable most of the time because 60-70% of their functionality is unsupported, or they remain in the list even if their fixture "type" is not supported. You had this feature for YEARS now, but it feels like it was implemented in 2018 and never touched again. No sane person would use RB lighting over Soundswitch.

I don't know whats going on or how big the teams behind these features are, but geez... Its embarassing. If you're gonna highlight their existance by putting them in your controllers and hardware, please make them at least useable before you ship.

I think this issue is important. For a person who recently has plans to move into the pioneer ecosystem, the separation feature looks very annoying. The best brand should have the best technology.

It is a very extreme issue that Seperation is preferred for three layers and to put unchangeable keys for 3 layers on the controllers.

Despite everything, it is a very important issue that the separation feature comes in poor quality.

I think society should be enlightened in this regard. Articles should be published on what is preferred and why the future is seen. If this does not happen, people who do not understand the subject and are offended are born.

I am writing as a new user considering passing this article.

While I am not doubting that kaya, this is a post mostly focussed on what can and should still be worked on. The FLX 10 design choice is nothing thats still changeable.

What remains an issue is that the SOFTWARE is lacking. I cannot use the features that were selling points of this controller, because they are not ready yet.

Stems I am sure they will quickly get to, everyone uses those now. But I hate how pioneer and rekordbox made the awesome choice to put a DMX out on this unit and then offers such a lackluster lighting software for it. Might as well not have it at all then -.-

The same thing happens to me. With an i9 processor and 32 GB of RAM, it makes strange noises because when the song plays without any stem, in reality, the 3 stems are playing at the same time. It should play the original without any noise, and if any of the stems are activated, only the activated one should play. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself well, but it seems like a fatal error that adds noise and takes away a lot of quality in the mix. Not to mention my high-end processor, which experiences micro cuts when I add a song using Rekordbox, with less than 40% of RAM and CPU available. This also happens to me with another computer with an i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM. I want to clarify that I support Pioneer as much as possible and I am a user of the creative plan.

I totaly agree.

With my FLX10 I have severe audio problems with RB. Laptop with new i7 is not even a month old.

The only thing holding me from going over to Serato is the Export Mode.
