How to record from the digital output on DJM800
Hi all,
Here is the idea: I would like to record my mixes with my laptop, at the highest possible quality. I have an external USB soundcard that has only an optical digital input (no coaxial). But the DJM800 (and as far as I know all other Pioneer mixers) has only a coaxial digital out.
So I was curious to know whether some of you have already bumped into this problem and how you have solved it. Do you use a coaxial/optical converter? Which one would you recommend then? Or do you have a USB soundcard with coaxial digital input? Which one then?
Any tips welcome!
Thanks a lot

I forgot to mention that I'm using M-Audio FireWire 410 (it has coaxial input), FireWire 410 is a bit old and I think the new one is called M-Audio ProFire 610.
I'm using Mac OS X Lion and record my mixes from my DJM-2000 via S/PDIF to my iMac with FireWire 410.
Cheers!
Thanks for the references! The ProFire 610 seems the best option, but given the price I think I'll opt for the CO2 instead :)
