Hey Guys, so I am trying to update my DJM-900 NEXUS. I have connected it with my laptop using a LAN cable and when the computer says connecting with DJM, after a minute or so i get a message on the DJM-900 NEXUS screen saying ERROR EE00. Any Help? Thank you.

turn off any firewalls. ie windows firewall
Thank you, it finally worked lol
Hi Guys, I am currently also having the same EE00 error message when trying to update my firmware to ver 1.26 for the DJM 900.
My notebook is Asus N53SV, Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit, I7 and 12G RAM. Also followed instruction manual that was in the
firmware download and connected with Lan cable to the DJM 900, keeps coming up with EE00 error message. Had Kapersky protection
paused and Window firewalls turned off.
Tried it a few times unplugging the lan cable and powering up DJM again but no luck. I tried two different sources for the download one been
www.pioneer.eu and the other www.pioneerdj.com. Both files having the same issue. I downloaded to a folder in my documents and extracted
files from the zip file as per the manual. My current firmware version is 1.21 and driver version 1.303.
I would appreciate any advice so I can get this sorted out..
Kind Regards
Chad
I had the same problem with Windows 7 64bit and the djm 900 and tried everything you did and still had no luck. Honestly, if you want to get it done quick, just use a computer that has XP on it. That's what I did; I know it's not a fix but better than wating hours on it if you have XP at home.
You also might want to try rebooting the laptop after turning off your firewall and anti-virus. This is a windows issue (more than likely) and not a mixer issue.
Good luck!
Hi John,
Thanks for your suggestions, I was a bit weary of having to put XP on one of my PCs as they all running W7. Anyway first
tried rebooting after disabling the firewall and antivirus.. Worked out perfectly and had a successful install of the new
firmware.
I know its off the topic here and been researching the forums, but whats the best sampling rate to use in conjunction
with DJM 900, x 2 CDJ 900 and Traktor Pro 2.5.0. I been having a lot of dropouts with the recent update to TP2 2.5.0
been trying different settings, latency, buffer and sampling rate. I have heard some guys seem to think its when key
lock is activated in TP2. I am using the DJM 900 as the soundcard, made sure CDJs, DJM are all set to 48kHz as well
as in the asio settings and the TP2 software.
CPU level is very low as I mentioned in my previous comments I have quite a powerful setup, this notebook is
purely for TP2 and no other unnecessary programs. I have tried disabling kapersky, made sure all system sounds
are disabled, wifi switch is off, sleep mode etc is deactivated and running off power adaptor. This is a really new
notebook.
I notice the dropouts are not consistent, sometimes happening in different tracks, not just one particular track.
Not very often but it is very annoying.
Guys using windows 7 and similar setup, what would you suggest for the best sampling rate settings etc or is it
definitively a bug in TP2 2.5.0?
Hi Chad,
I'm glad you got it working :)
As for the Traktor issue, I know that there are some issues with in Traktor that NI will be releasing a fix for any day now. Having said that, I sold my 900 by the time 2.5 came out so I will let others try and help you. Once thing I do suggest is that you raise your settings and see if you will still experiance these issues. I was using default settings (in TP) when I had the 900 and i had a lesser laptop then you (i5 dell latitude w/ 8GB of RAM) and it worked fine. If I recall my rates I will post back (I'm at work now).
Cheers
Oh and read this if you have not already....

Hi John
Thanks for that info, was on Facebook earlier and see that Traktor has announced the new update is available...
I will get that updated and then give it a test run again tomorrow evening. Sounds like ver 2.5.1 does address some
of the audio issues and better integration of the CDJ 900/2000.
Will let you know how it goes.
Cheers
Nice, good luck.
Having the same error with my macbook i turned off the firewall and still receiving an error
Have you disabled any and all firewalls or antivirus?
Have you connected directly to the mixer and not through any router?
I also heaving the error with my mac.
Mac's Fireware and antivirus are off.
My connection is directly from mixer to my mac and I've tried 3 different LAN cabels. so the cables are fine.
