DJM-T1 cue point problem

Please help, this is driving me nuts.  Ok so when i have Deck A playing and a load different song into Deck B i press the Deck B cue point 2 for a marked scratch point etc.  Problem is that doing this also marks Deck A with a cue point 5 wherever the track is when i hit it for deck B.  I just bought the mixer and followed the instructions and setup through the wizard.  I checked the controller mappings and it seems fine.  I selected the mapping for cue 2 on Deck B and nothing else highlights except the delete cue 2 for Deck B which is correct.  I'm so confused.

Also having the issue where when i turn on the FX for Deck B it also skips Deck A forward 4 bars.  Weird...
