Djm 850 Noise Effect

Hy to all...

The Postman was here and brings me my new Djm 850

I test it but....the Noise Effect was very very loud and the Crush Effect is not the same as from the Djm 800

Everyone has the same problems or other problems??

Please post it thank you hope Pioneer make some Updates for this Mixer

The noise on the 850 has an increased volume, similar to that of the 900/2000 -- and while not everyone's happy with it, we're waiting on an update to lower that level.  I'll make sure that the engineers are aware it's a complaint with the 850 as well.

The crush effect is improved - I think it sounds better!

Is this correction to the noise effect something that we can update on our mixers?  I just bought a DJM-850 and also noticed the noise effect is way too loud, it overpowers the underlying track unless you're at the extremes of the rotary.  Is there some kind of firmware update we can get for this?

If you have one channel free you could use the noise effect on that channel because then you have a separate volume control over it and can make it blend with the tracks playing!
Works good for me

@Rafik > Not at the moment, no.

I do agree with Martin though; a lot of the time I do like to put the noise effect on a free channel and manipulate it there.
