The DJM900 is Traktor certified where as the DJM800 or 850 is not. I've owned the 800 but now have the 900 and prefer it overall.
If money is no option, which is the best mixer to purchase for djing with cdjs. Maybe traktor in the future. Does the djm900 have everything the 800 does? Do you think that will be the new club standard? Thanks for any info.

I kind of assumed that, thank you man.
Actually the 850 is Traktor Scratch 2 certified. If digital inputs/X-Pad/2 extra color effects are things you want, then the 900. The 850 is a solid replcement for the 800 in my opinion for what you get with it. BUT, most of us want it ALL, so the 900!!!
900 effects are awesome i tested both 850 is nice but if money aint a problem get the nexus i wanted the djm2000 but reading forums and being unable.to have quantize effects i turned on the 900 and im real happy
I just got the 900 and it's an upgrade to my 800...I am so stoked and can't wait to use the new effects!! 900 all the way.
Both the djm 850 & 900 are both Traktor certified. And both will do the same thing if your gonna JUST use Traktor with your cdj's. For me the 900 don't have really that much more better effects then the 850. I actually think the 850's color effects with beat sync are cooler then a strip pad on the 900 that I can promise you that you will barley ever use. And if you were to purchase a RMX 1000? You will barely touch your mixers effects besides the filter probably. And on another note... The djm 2000/2000 nexus does have quantize for effects like the 900. But it is NOT Traktor certified... But can be mapped for Traktor. But at the end of the day... If you have cdj2000's MK1 or the Nexus players??? You don't even need a Pioneer mixer or a Traktor certified mixer cause they both have HID mode which uses the CDJ sound card and takes 10 sec to set up with traktor.
The DJM2000 / Nexus does feature Quantized effects now - it didn't at the start but a firmware upgrade added it later on.
The 900 is the mac daddy everyone wants - for the feature set and price its a great mixer. Good luck with your decision.
