Just thank your lucky starts you never went and bought cdj nexus or you would be complaining even more.
Well I've used my DJM-2000 for about 1 year now since I've bought it, and all of a sudden the Dry/Wet knob had some problems.
While tweaking this knob the sound of the effect just got in and went out similar to a loose contact. Well this is really bad for a Mixer ->1 year old<-, I mean Pioneer you're going from a point of building quality next to behringer which makes me really WTF. And the next brilliant thing is, that the pricing you take for this equipment you also seem to take for repairing your stuff. I got a bill of about 140 Euros!!!
I'm really sad about this, on the one hand your stuff is market-leading, on the other hand quality increased drastically in the last few years.
I just posted this to tell how I feel about this :(

After going through some trouble with the 2000s and not seeing any value added I never though of upgrading
DJM 2000 is a great mixer, but have some quality issues, therefore im content with either DJM 1000 or DJM 800 / 909s these mixers lack some features, but are vuilt like TANKS!, and that saves me money to buy other gear!
Hey everyone, just jumped the Nexus boat ;) god I wish I knew the problems where that bad :| I've had my DJM-2000 for about 1,5 years now and I did not have many issues with it except for a filter knob replacement and the firmware issues..
Last night I used my 2000 and as soon as I used the noise effect....I remembered how I blew away $3000.
Was just fine with the 800 and the 900. I have been raped by Pioneer :-(
Yeah they should really push out a new update for the djm 2000 soon!!
I wouldn't be surprised if a new mixer is on its way.
