I was wondering what would be the best way to set up the DJM 900 to work with 2 CDJs and Ableton live and have all the effects on both the DJM and ableton quantized?
the CDJs would be on channels 1 and 4 with Ableton channels routing to 2 and 3 on the mixer. if the CDJs had LINK, can you run a Rekordbox link from the laptop to the mixer, thus having your entire library on both CDJs and then at the same time have the same laptop connected via USB to the mixer and run loops/samples/acapellas from ableton (using the DJM soundcard) into channels 2 and 3 on the mixer?
Any suggestions/easier methods? i have the DJM but not the CDJ 2000s yet so this is all theoretical..

The effects on the DJM would not be quantized for software-audio as it is not receiving rekordbox beat grid data from Ableton. There are a few guides out there (including one I wrote) as well as videos. Browse the web and you should be able to figure things out after playing around a bit.
