Hey.
One of my DJM-900NXS suddenly failed. There was no sound what so ever from input. Until I connected traktor thru the USB.
Now theres sound - but I still cant get any sound from input CD or Phono. And the stores closed for the weekend so I cant get any support.
Anyone familiar to this problem ? The mixer cant be 100% broken since it works with USB.
Any help is much appreciated.

Start with the obvious, cables/content/files/players. Try any and all combos with a CDJ and also try the digital inputs and see if they have sound. Double check the input selector on each channel/crossfader.
Of course, tried every combo.. still no sound, only thing that works is the usb connection... strange

@standislav > Ok, lets start from scratch. What do you have connected to your mixer? CDJs? Turntables?
When you have the input connected to the mixer are you sure you have plugged the cable into the correct input and chosen that setting (e.g. Digital / CD/LINE / PHONO etc)?
When you press play on that particular input, do you get any reading on the VU meter on the mixer? If not, can you try a different input source / different cables?

I have two DJM-900 Nexus mixers... one that works 100% with the current setup and one that only works with digital aka. usb -> traktor setup.
It so superstrange - can it be a electronic circuit or what not that has failed ?

@standislav > Then I would return the unit that is giving you the issues to where you purchased it for repair.
