Hi, how is everything connected? What are the channel input selectors set to? Are you using a seperate Traktor interface? You know that the DJM 900 is traktor native right?

Follow[SOLVED] Problem with 900 nexus effects
I'm having some problems with effects on my DJM-900 nexus. It's attached to two CDJ-900's and everything works fine. However, when I want to use the effects that are controlled on the right (Roll, Slip Roll, Reverb, Delay etc.) only the Roll and Slip Roll work, none of the others. Also, only when the effects are on the exact channel that the track is playing on ie. only by having the channel select on Channel 1 will these effects work on the song (not even these effects work when on the Master and CF. A / CF. B channel settings). ALSO when I'm switching channels, the audio is completely cut out until i either get back to the single channel a song is playing out of or the master channel. I'm currently running this setup with a Traktor interface, any suggestions?

Okay so both cdjs are connected with rca to channel 1 and 4, cdjs linked with ethernet and then connected to laptop running traktor via usb hub. mixer has usb running to laptop as well not through hub. channel inputs are set to usb 1/2 (for deck A on channel 1) and usb 7/8 (for deck B on channel 2). The problem might be with traktor because i just switched the channel selector to cd/line for both of the cdjs and played through a flash drive and the effects are working. most likely just out of date software with traktor? what driver would i need to install or settings would i need to change?
WOOO! Figured it out, so what it was is that on Traktor you have your preset effects (delay, reverb, flanger etc.) and they are preloaded and i guess traktor will take them over the build in djm ones so you just have to go into settings --> effects ---> FX pre-selection and then remove all the pre selected effects. hopefully anyone else having the same problem can find this cuz took me forever to find anything about it. Thanks for the help Loos!
