the gain will be the same as the source audio.... the only thing you can do is to lower the fader? or set the gain at a correct level before you record.

TheOne thank you for answering but...:

???? You mean that this is normal?? I can't believe this... That makes it almost useless or at least a bit unusable... I know i can lower the fader, but i think this is a bug. I hope some mod will responce to this..

yes this is normal...

the only explanation I have is that the gain will only "work" on a source connected to the back of the mixer ( the rca line in)

of course it would be better if we could lower the gain of the sample.... but im afraid this can't be fixed ..

I have the cdj's connected via digital cable, i try rca too, but i don't think that there will be a difference. I hope some mod will reply here and confirm if this is a bug or not. And if not, i would like to know why that should be normal...

what I mean , is that the Gain only will work on cdj's connected to the back of the mixer with RCA or Digital in .

And yes this is normal behavior. And I believe this will never be changed ...

oh i see what you meant know. But i did a little testing and realised that the bass middle etc are working as they should on the sample. So is that different? Why is this work and not the gain...? Still waiting for a mod reply...
