[SOLVED] DJM 2000NXS TOUCH SCREEN ERROR

I don't have a 2000 anymore but I work with touch screens... There is a way to calibrate it so either search here or call tech support.  If the touch is so bad that you can't even get to the calibration page, then there should be a way that you boot in to it but I assume only tech support would know that so try them.

A touch screen is normally calibrated in the shape of a plus sign, so it just means that your upper calibration values are bad.  Assuming its not the touch screen its' self that's bad, this should be an easy fix for you.

Sorry to elaborate, I mean if you take a screen and draw a plus sign on it (an imaginary one of course), then you have 4 sections, top right, top left, bottom right, and bottom left, your upper left and right values are bad; assuming that the actual touch screen is not defective (you would not see this with in your view or even by looks).

Here's how to enter it, if you can't due to the bad touch, then call tech support and ask "how to boot the djm 2000 in to touch calibration mode"

Power up the mixer holding the Live Sampler/ utility button then you can access the touch panel calibration.

I followed your instructions an i calibrated,, but still no luck,, whenever i tried to touch channel 2 and 3 it will not highlight. 1 and 4 does work.

but when i touch the outer circle of 2 and tree it works but not all the time when it feels like. also when i try to go into the side chain drop down menu .. it will not work also.

i keep tapping and randomly it will open.. its just frustrating.  i never had this issue before. and as i mention no liquid spills or dust, or any physical damage on the mixer its new.
