In what seems to be the Gold Master of 10.9.2 (13C64) It is noted that it fixes an issue that could cause audio distortion on certain macs. Hopefully they will release this tomorrow.
Hello I am having an audio crackle and distortion problem whenever I use my DJM900SRT with my new Haswell Retina MBP. The problems occurs when there is playback either using the supplied Serato DJ software or 900SRT as a sound card for iTunes. This problem ONLY occurs with the new MBP Retina, and not with any of my other macbook computers. They are all running latest version of mavericks. I have all the newest firmware available for my DJM900SRT. I have tried rebooting, shutting off wifi, bluetooth, etc nothing seems to fix the problem. I have a late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina 2.3 Ghz i7, 16GB Ram , 512 SSD.
Attached is a video link highlighting the problem.

That would be awesome!
Alright so 10.9.2 is officially released! Now it's Pioneer's turn
Did anyone test yet? I'm at work and won't be able to till later tonight.
I'm downloading 10.9.2 now. Pretty slow-going so I guess I'm not the only one :-) Looks like about 20-30 minutes to complete. As soon as I do get installed I'll take a "lunch break" and take it for a spin. Will report my results ASAP. Cheers!

Yes, still doesn't work =/
well apple did their part. Now we wait some more
Although Ill be happy to privately beta test any firmware tonight...
I'm with you. Worse case scenario it's back to sl1 for the time being.
Okay, so my misunderstanding of the thread, I guess. Sounds like we need two things to occur:
- Apple release of 10.9.2 (done)
- subsequent firmware update from Pioneer (pending)
Presuming that to be the case, I'll forego my planned test until the second piece arrives. Pioneer team, I too am happy to UAT your firmware update if that would help. Cheers all!
Yep just tried it out. Still no good. Up to Pioneer now. I have the DDJ-SZ on order and I hope I don't go through the same waiting game as we are with this mixer.
If there are issues that is.
I doubt there will be any issues.. I use an sx sometimes and there is no problem. It's probably because it is not the same technology in the respective mixers .
It might be a lil similar because the SZ is DVS and you can hook up turntables and/or cdjs to it.
I could be wrong. Keeping fingers crossed.
Updated firmware is released. I won't be able to test till later in today.

Went to work late. I couldn't wait. Works!!!!!!
Ah!!! There's nothing like a mixer outputting normal sound. Works perfectly, not one little sound other than the actual song playing. Thanks Pioneer
Also want to confirm that the Apple 10.9.2 release + Pioneer's DJM-900NXS firmware patch v1.310 solved this problem for me. A round of applause for the folks at Pioneer who got this patch out within 24 hours of Apple's fix to finally solve this critical issue. Well done guys! You've officially destroyed the last excuse I had for procrastinating on my demo :-) Cheers!

Sorry for the wait guys, as you know, it needs a few things to come together to find the problem and apply the appropriate fixes without mucking up something else. I'm marking this thread as solved; if you have any other problems or questions, please start a new thread -- if it happens to relate back to this, just provide a link to this URL.
Hey guys
The download links for the firmware update are not there anymore. I'm getting a 404 error. Does anyone have the zip file they can email? This is terrible.
