Having problems with the DJM-900 Nexus sound card. It keeps glitching out and stopping after 30 seconds of playing. I thought it was the ableton session but the problem was the same when I played a song through the "preview" function in OSX. This is on a brand new, literally, Macbook Pro 15". We then went and grabbed our old mac book pro retina 15" (mid 2012 model). they are both running the most up to date mavericks. and both have the same driver software from pioneer. What could be the difference between them that is making the nexus not operate properly? I work for a touring DJ so any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a mission critical problem.

we have since taken it back to the bus and A/B the two computers the only difference we could find is that in system report on the new mac book pro (the one that glitches) the DJM-900 nexus is being logged under the "USB 3.0 High speed bus" and on the older (Working) macbook pro it is under "USB Hi-Speed Bus" is this a possible issue?
Update the firmware to the nexus if u haven't yet. That might help.

Yes I would start with updating the 900 and making sure that all the drivers and fw are the latest versions.
