Speaker Latency Issues DJM850

Hey guys,

Not sure where I should of posted this but I decided here as I have a DJM850 mixer. Basically I have some really frustrating latency issues with my speakers. They're Mackie Thump TH-15As and they are significantly delayed so that it's too hard to beatmatch with one side of the headphones off. I end up having to cue both tracks in the headphones, which gets really hard when the speakers are loud because it interferes (the bass especially) with what I'm hearing in the headphones. (And yes the speakers are right in front of me. Even when I put my ear against the tweeter, it is delayed)

I know in an ideal setup I'd have some monitor speakers.. but I don't have an ideal setup right now, and using big speakers is more fun :D

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? I feel like its unfixable... Surely it couldn't be the cables, and surely not the mixer either..

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Yoni

The DJM850 is connected via XLR out of the Master1 to the XLR inputs of the speakers

I have two 1200s and two cdj900s connected to the mixer if that is relevant.

@Yoni > Are you able to try another output source (different speakers or a home receiver)? Unless you have the delay effect enabled on the mixer or are running several hundred feet of cable between the mixer and the speakers, there would be no noticeable delay between the headphones and master output.
