Rekordbox as the 'Standard and Universal' music management tool.

When can we expect full compatibility of RB with Windows 7?

Current RB implementation only supports Windows XP SP3.  But this operating system is already dated and so too with the hardware running it.  It means that majority of laptops have EIDE or PATA drives installed in it.  And unfortunately, the biggest PATA internal HDD (for laptops) you can find today is only 320 GB (compared with 750 GB for SATA).

Will the next RB release addresses this limitation?

@GlasEye2 > It does work with both 32bit and 64bit versions of Vista and Windows 7 as well as the 32bit version of Windows XP.

I'm not sure what the compatibility issue is that you're complaining about as SATA drives _are _supported in FAT32 or HFS+ format for any capacity.

My bad.  Never realized that the driver for Win7 was not properly installed on my new laptop hence preventing the PRO Link to work properly.  All this time I've been using my XP laptop that has never given me headache (music wise) except for the limited storage (HDD) space.  My apologies for the quick blame on RB.  I should have checked my workstation before crying foul.

Long Live RB! :)

Yup!  Now I have all my WAVE files in a 500GB partition.

Thanks so much.
