Link Error

Hello

I recently migrated to a new notebook with Intel i7 and Windows 7 Enterprise 64.

I installed the program rekordbox version 1.5.1.

I am with the following problem: when I try to use the LINK cable network LINK button appears in the program but when I click this button any of my equipment appear. Only the mixer icon appears with the message "LINK OFF MON."

I have already made all possible configurations:

- I disabled the firewall in Windows 7

  • I updated network card drivers

  • I disabled wireless network

  • I tested only one cdj connected to the network cable (in this case the LINK icon appears but there is no device)

  • No antivirus installed

  • Using the old computer all my equipment normally appear in the RB program.

Could anyone help me figure out what was the problem?

Another problem also occurred:

After detecting the previous problem I make my base migration of data from your old computer to new computer. On the old computer I used Windows XP.

For rekordbox work I had to change the file rekordbox.settings on the line that specifies the directory to the directory of the pioneer use fresh Windows 7: "pioneerDirectory" val = "*c: \ users \ myname \ AppData \ Roaming \ Pioneer \ rekordbox *". Only then rekordbox my work.

But I also had the problem of the waveform does not work for.

The solution was to keep the original file rekordbox.settings, ie, do not import this file from the old computer.

My Configuration:

  • 1 DJM 2000 firmware 2.01
  • 2 CDJ 2000 firmware 4.10
  • 1 Notebook  CCE with Windows 7 64 Enterprise Edition
  • 1 Notebook LG Dual Core with Windows XP x32

Please, help me!

I managed to solve the problem of LINK as follows:

- I uninstalled all drivers for network adapters and wireless network

- I uninstalled all 3G connections

- I uninstalled the RB

- I reinstalled all the original drivers for the adapters

- I reinstalled the RB and migrated my database following steps of the tutorials above (only I did not copy the file REKORDBOX.SETTINGS because this is the file that causes the problem of not displaying the waveform)

With these changes the LINK button again function normally and all my devices are recognized and returned to work without any problem.

The waveforms are usually read in RB but when they are loaded via LINK for CDJ2000 these waveforms are not shown.

The solution is to re-examine the files.
