am doing it on RB but in the usb! and i fix it with the option of Info!
Okay, when you make the changes to the USB are you using the "Update Collection" feature when you want to reflect those changes back in the main library?
well i think no how do i do it?!
Go to your export device, click All Tracks, click in the tracks window area, press CTRL+A (or Command+A on Mac) to select all tracks, rightclick on any one of them and select Update Collection.
so i put the songs from the fixed usb to the laptop! and then to the export usb and then update??
You don't need to export them again because they're already on the drive.
but when i press CTR A and right click recordbox gets stuck and crashes!
How many songs are in your collection?
general 2500 but in RB collection 1000 and at the Usb the playlist has 400!
Have you checked that none of your tracks are problematic? It could be that selecting the trouble track is causing the issue of the crash. What version of rekordbox are you running?
the newest one! no but ill check !
What I am trying to do is similar. Difference is my recordbox collection is empty. I want to properly mirror the collection from the USB stick to tbecome the recordbox collection. Can I simply drag the contents folder into the collection then use this 'update collection' feature?
