Made album art changes on USB stick, not collection, can I re-import USB stick to collection listing?

I exported tracks to my USB stick using record box a while back. The tracks did not have correct track names or album art etc.

So I have since then set all the album art, key, track titles etc on tracks on my USB stick with it connected in Recordbox.

So On my USB Stick I have the Contents folder and the Pioneer folder. When I plug it in to the CDJ it shows the album art and titles, but not the key the track was in. I think this was because I didn't select 'key' for an active category on my original export?.

I was thinking I would need to re-export  a recordbox collection full of tracks to the USB stick after selecting the active categories I want it to show.

My Recordbox library collection listing  is currently empty because the changes I made were not on files in the collection but on the tracks currently on the USB stick.

So what I want to know is. Can I re-import the files somehow from the USB stick (original export) into the Recordbox Collection listing and have it read all the changes I made - album art etc.?

Anyone have an answer for this? A thought that came to mind was that when recordbox exports to a USB stick. It should also contain all the information to allow that USB stick to become a backup of your recordbox library.   That is what I am trying to do right now. I am trying to restore my recordbox collection with the Tracks AND all those tracks Info modifications, added album art, etc.   I don't see how this is possible because all the edb files or what-not aren't in the USB stick.  Are there not any good reasons to anticipate loss of your recordbox main collection to create a countermeasure (such as using the export data to be copied to the USB stick)?

Unfortunately, no; you can't import tracks from a device to a collection that they didn't originate from.

USB export devices have their own database, just not the same as the main database, so again, unfortunately you're unable to copy that or import it to restore / recover those tracks.

I already have the tracks. They are on my USB stick. The idea I am trying to get it as it to re-import them as my collection. Right now I use recordbox with only my USB stick. Collection is empty - because I can't do this.

if you query the mp3 stick for .mp3 then copy them back to the original drive and re add them to rbx that will work

As @Pionix says, you can find the MP3s on the drive itself (under the CONTENTS folder) and copy them back to your computer to add to your main rekordbox collection, but there's no way to use rekordbox itself to add them from the export device to the main collection.

It would copy them back but it wont have all the art work with them.

The artwork is found in the PIONEER\Artwork folder on your export device.  You could then attach those images to the appropriate tracks.
