I guess the rekordbox database stays behind on the usb stick but the tracks themselves are deleted.

FollowRekordbox & usbs.
i have recently had a problem with my cdj2000s reading music from my usbs.
i have had this problem in the past and found a forum topic that helped me correct it but i am not able to find it again :(.
the problem iam having is when i delete music off the usb, inside rekordbox and also when i delete the whole contents file off the usb device. Then i go to put a new playlist or set of tunes onto the usb and plug it into the cdj. the cdj seems to still read the old songs? im guessing because i deleted them it comes up with an error message and wont let me play them.
from memory, the last time i fixed it, i had to search for specific files on the usb and in the rekordbox files in my computer, delete these hidden files and then put new tunes on the usb.
does anyone know what these files are called?
sorry to be so vauge about the infomation aswell.
one last question, could someone please post the thread of give me some information on how to delete tunes/playlists the RIGHT way off you usb decives, so i dont continually have this problem!!
thanks
hope to hear from someone !

Correct - the Pioneer data folder is hidden and the suggested method of wiping a drive is to format it rather than simply deleting the audio files.
Well i got windows folder settings so i see the hidden folder =) , But yeah Formatting will be the best method.
I think this is a similar scenario. I have exported a bunch of playlists onto my USB. Now I want to put more playlists on there but have no room (16gb stick). I don’t want to delete "everything" only those tracks from the playlists I no longer want. Is there a way to identify which tracks in the "all tracks" section are on a playlist, this would mean I could sort by playlist then delete rather than "reformat". Surely there is a way to free up space by getting rid of tracks on the stick rather than erasing everything and starting again?
Cheers.

@Alex > Unfortunately not, you have to manually select and delete them from the All Tracks. Conversely, if you delete the track from All Tracks, it automatically removes it from any playlists on the device.
This would be great if you could group tracks by playlist, but for some reason. you cant... sigh... reformat it is! Thanks for the response.
