problems with recordbox versio 2.01

Hi,

I stayed a while on an old version of RB (I think 1.5.x) because it was fine. But recently I updated to the lates 2.01 version. And Now I'm in deep S!@#T. The version continiously crashes, something i had never before. If I drag a file in a playlist and drop it in the same list again (so you just click on a file Think you want to put it from one playlist to another an then descide not to do it) it wil crash.

When you export a playlist ti a USB stich at strats to  scan the files again and slowly writes them to disk. Whyis it scanning the files again? If you do somthing with RB during this scanning it will Crash etc etc,

Pioneer, WHAT IS GOING ON?

What Did i do wrong during the upgade? Do I have to rescan all my files again or something? What is it about this timing of MP3 files thing, I do not understand that.

I have over 25000 tracks in Recordbox and my compleet workflow is depending on this software. Please help.

Is there a way to rollback to a stable version? I do have database backups from the old version.

Besr regards Garro

Pulse, I run win7 64bits and the 2.01 version simply stops responding in cases as mentioned. I had never ever this before.

i also have the same problem using 2.0.1, system crashes over and over after update.

i have reverted to version ''1.5.2.7 for debug'' system has not crashed once. i had to search the web for this software.

link is established straight away to my 900's and songs do not need to analysed again and again..

would recommend staying with the software that is working for you before updating. good luck

2.0.1 crashes a lot, My crashlog folder is loaded with only RB crashes. No matter what session I start, somewhere along the line it crashes or locks up for 5-10 seconds with no response whether it's searching for a track, importing, exporting, or simply just exiting the program, it crashes, The main unfortunate part to all this is I cannot even revert back to 1.6 or 1.5 because I unfortunately, regrettably, purchased the Nexus decks and sold the first 2000's

@BriChi you describe it in the best way @Pulse this is exactly the behaviour that I have as well.

@Pulse: If you export a playlist to stick it shows the normal export files window and then it is finished. BUT in the previous version it was indeed finished BUT now it has not written the files to the stick. It starts to scan the files on the computer again and the one by one on the background copies them to the stick. Why is this? It can easily lead to errors since the user will eject the USB stick after the sreen said "Export Finished"

I just looked, I have almost 40 RB crashes in my log folder ranging from September 17th till last night,

they are 3 different related crashes, RB, PSvLink and PSvNFSD.
