Sorry, it does work! I should've RTFM first! lol :)
But it doesn't auto load, you have to go in to the Settings menu and **My Settings **the click on the CDJ icons to apply My Settings.

rekordbox app (iOS) My Settings
When i connect my iPhone via USB to my CDJ-2000NXS it doesn't load My Settings. It works when I connect a SD card or a USB stick but not the iPhone with rekordbox app that has it's own My Settings menu...
