Problem with DJ Link with CDJ900 on 2.0.1

I have just reinstalled my main pc so installed the latest version of rekordbox, I cannot get the decks to properly connect to it though.

i have read through a lot of the forums before posting this to make sure I was not doing anything stupid.

I have two NICs on the PC one which is my normal network and the other a dedicated one for the Pioneer Decks. I am using a 5-port TP Link Gigabit Switch (TL-SG1005D) I have also tried a 16 port Netgear Router which was even less successful!

on the rekordbox NIC the Firewall is turned off, File and Printer Sharing turned off, QOS turned off

When I start rekordbox it finds both decks but if you drag a file to them (which play fine in rekordbox) the deck icon just flashes and nothing happens.**
