Rekordbox frustrations

Hello there, and thanks for the discussion.

I recently bought myself the 2000 Nexus set and man, It's great. Until when it comes to the software side called Rekordbox.

My first frustration is why does rekordbox doesn't let you play music when it's linked with my DJM-CDJ's.

It does do something but it looks like it's muted. With this function I could prehear my big library and perfectly figure out what should be next.

Also, I have to say and please don't shoot me down! The whole rekordbox experience feels a little cheap to me. I have this big gigantic set which is really the best off the best. But when it comes to rekordbox. I'm bothered with the bad looks and functionality of it.

It would be great if I could sync my NI Maschine software with Rekordbox (without syncing the turntables).

And last, I have my settings pre-configured and when my 2000NXS linked it, it doesn't transfer the settings from the software onto my set. While the box for this setting is checked! My set allway's forget I turned on Master Tempo. It would be great if I could solve it with the software.

Greetings from Belgium (Dutch)

I like the idea of RB as I have stated before but one thing is for sure, when you spend $6,000 USD (Give or take) on 2 CDJ and 1 DJM, RB sure feels cheaply made compared. Imagine if you bought an AUDI top of the line and the darn computer system that was the brains of the car was the equivalent of Rekordbox! Enough said?

Customers shouldn't be fighting to use RB and hoping an update to their $6,000.00 purchase is right around the corner. I also think RB should be above and beyond what it currently is and can do. RB should be the standard and not what it is currently. The CDJ and DJM are waiting for RB to catch up and stop bottelnecking the system.

if you have the DJM900 and its part of the "link", the RB music is playing through the 900 as a 3rd way to listen to a song, this is why there is a "link" CUE button on the mixer
