I'm working with 150BPM.
At the begining of a track I locate the down beat and do my adjustments. I move the red bar on the beat grid to it so that it is perfectly lined up. Everything sounds great! However in the middle of the track the songs slow down, speeds up or goes quiet for 4 beats or so... during this time the down beat may fall behind/speed up 1 to 3 beats so that when the beat comes back the red down beat bar is now on the third beat (Example, it could also only be 1 or 2 beats off) and not the down beat. Of course I have to adjust the beat bars to line up as they are off and that's fine. However if I now mark the first beat with the red bar (Middle of track) the first down beat I did at the beging of the track is off 3 beats. (As an example).
What am I not doing correctly or how do I fix this? What do you guys do?
My concern is if I leave it alone and later on when I am DJing I will mix from the end of this track to the next my down beats wont match. I can adjust I guess with a CDJ or whatever but I was hoping that RB could help me avoid the extra work or that I am over looking how to correct this issue???
Not every track is like this but a few...

I know this is an old post but I have the same issue and cannot an answer anywhere.
I have tracks where after mid track drum roll the 1st beat shifts and is no longer the beat marked in red. When it comes to mixing out the first beat is now the second or third beat. Caught me out a few times and the mix was embarrassing, clearly off beat.I know I can stretch or shrink the beat grid but how do I make an adjustment the 1st beat without affecting the grid that precedes it?
The right-most button, where you adjust the grid will do this "Make an adjustment from the current position"
Thanks but that isn't the answer. I do not need to shift the grid, I need to be able to change a blue line to a red line. I have tracks where the downbeat shifts. This is an example 1-2-3-4-1-2-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4. Is this possible in Rekordbox?
I am having the same problem with track DJPhil here. the track goes 1-2-3-4-1-2-1-2-3-4 after the build. Anyway to reset the red lines that mark the one?
This issue with songs changing structure and the need to add an extra first beat to reflect the change needs to be addressed yesterday.
