Make sure the drive is formatted FAT32 not NTFS & it should recognize it.
If you're using Windows Vista or newer & the HDD is over 32GB you will need a 3rd party app to format it.

Recordbox do not detect my external HD USB3
Hello guys...i have a problem with my external HD.i can't see it by Recordbox and is brand new specially for music.i format it as well and still nothing.if anyone knows smtg. HELP :) Thanks

I already did it - "exFat" format . and it still the same :(
it's 1TB only one partition.
i use Win 7

Rekordbox can read ONLY FAT16 & FAT32 drives, not exFat or NTFS.
Google "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool" which will format your 1TB drive in Win7.
