Analysis data to be written to mp3 itself

It would be a great help if the analysis files could be written directly to the mp3 as Serato and Traktor does which makes moving between computers much quicker especially if you have multiple laptops as re analysing 25 thousand tracks is tedious and not all computers have the same username and music folder location.

it would be great if it did that also so the correct info loads when you load a track. Right now I have a bunch of tracks that must have lost their correct link between the track and the analysis date, i load a track that's 130 bpm for example but when loaded to the deck, the top wave is wrong and the wrong bpm is displayed, see pic attached. It's so annoying.  Attaching the data to the track like Serato does would have been the best thing to do, then maybe there would be A LOT less issues with data missing and exporting being so slow

Partner solutions do this already via ID3v2.3 GEOB frames for profile and beatgrids (just drop the file into that frame and be done with it unless the track is reanalyzed. If the track is not in the database, simply load it up rather than rescan!)

TXXX frames are used for other proprietary metadata, though I would be happy if Rekordbox would load in tempo and beat grid via the XML bridge.

If this were reduced to settings, I would like the default to load in 'new' track info from XML first, track meta 2nd.  If the track is already in the db, I would like a tag reload to load in the proprietary meta, and an XML import to trump the database data (including tags, cues and tempo attributes.)

I have the same issue BriChi, I have a bunch of tracks that are screwed up.    Apparently you can't batch move files from one folder to another (then let rekordbox find it) or change the name of a folder (then change it back) without this issue arising.  (which i've never seen any program do before.)  this is really, the worst program ive had the displeasure of working with.  And before someone asks why I'm moving around files, If the software worked right and I didn't have to constantly try and find some workaround for an issue (which usually never works)  then I wouldn't ever NEED to move files around.

Also, I still haven't been able to move my library from my imac to my macbook.  It just doesn't work.  It really shouldn't be that difficult.

yeah, its a mess right now, After narrowing down the usblanz file "We found love" pulls from, i noticed 2 files are pulling from the same file for data, thats why a Marc Anthony song has the same wave and bpm as "we found love" when it really shouldnt obviously, so when I analyze both files, close rb and reopen, those 2 files share 1 file of info so they have the same wave and bpm instead of creating 2 separate ones like it should. No good! I hope they fix this soon.  If they would have just followed the way other companies did this and write the data to the file, this would be a lot cleaner and easier

Mixvibes does the same thing and writes to a external database file rather than the mp3 itself. Maybe we should start requesting this feature on the mixvibes forum too?
