Recording in Rekordbox

you are correct, audacity is a free recording program

Thanks mate, I am thinkng of also looking at remixing a few tracks and Logic and Pro tools have been suggested but I haven't looked into these yet but I assuming these would both be capable of recording a mix given you can produce tracks on them?

I dont use but yes, I would have to assume the same that you can simply do a "record in" from the programs
